Comfort starts with the small things. Here’s what we’re developing—and what physical samples still have to prove.
01Room to move
Men’s unlined, athletic-relaxed fit. A 6-inch initial prototype, with other lengths subject to testing.
02A softer starting point
Lightweight stretch-woven fabric candidates with a soft hand feel and refined matte appearance.
03The essentials, considered
Two hand pockets, a concealed side zip and a rear-right zip wallet pocket. Fine-gauge mesh, lightweight woven and selective-mesh pocket bags will be compared for drainage and durability. Drainage, strength, snag resistance and loaded-pocket comfort still need testing; pockets are not waterproof.
04Comfort at the waist
An elastic waistband with a functional retained drawstring and reinforced exits. Comfort, useful stretch and recovery guide the trials.
05Small slit. Thoughtful finish.
Small slits at both outside leg hems, reinforced at the top. Final height and construction to be confirmed.
06Reinforced where it matters
Reinforced seams and stress points at pocket openings, zippers, the crotch and hem junctions. Stitch strength, stretch recovery and wash durability remain sampling objectives.
07A considered inside finish
Subtle interior jacquard TRAUSTON branding will be compared with a smooth, unbranded waistband. The better-performing construction wins on skin comfort, recovery and wash performance. The shorts remain unlined.
08Lightweight drawstring tips
Lightweight corrosion-resistant metal tips will be compared with premium nonmetal alternatives. Comfort, attachment security, mass and wash durability determine the choice; metal is not automatically preferred.

Can I buy apparel now?
Our graphic apparel and accessories are available in the TRAUSTON shop, made to order through production partners. The custom TR-PS01 short, Foundation Tee and Heritage Jean shown here remain in development and cannot be bought or preordered. The list is free to join and does not reserve stock or accept payment.
What discount will I receive?
Launch-list members will receive a launch discount. We have not set the amount, expiry or final eligibility yet; those details will be shared before a purchase is available.
How do I choose my size?
Final sizing is not ready yet. Before orders open, we plan to publish garment measurements, a measuring guide and fit guidance based on approved samples. You do not need to choose a size to join the list.

TR-PS01 shorts are our first-release priority. The Foundation Tee is a planned companion. The Heritage Jean is still being developed for a later release. Each product requires approved samples and testing; no launch date is confirmed.
Are the images finished-product photographs?
No. The images are clearly labeled design concepts. Final materials, fit, details and appearance may change during development.
What will the shorts cost, and where will you ship?
Prices, shipping destinations, charges and fulfillment timelines will be published after samples, manufacturing costs and fulfillment plans are validated. We are not taking orders or payments for these development-stage products. Available graphic merchandise has its own product information and checkout in the TRAUSTON shop.
Will every design launch?
No. The designs in our gallery are concept explorations. Customer feedback informs sampling and launch choices; it does not guarantee that a specific design will be made.
